Sounds like there was a misunderstanding here. I simply said it was not
clear to me what was proposed. Based on what I read this morning, it
sounded like your position was that all e-mail from the list service is in
the public domain. You also mentioned a possible "unofficial archive" if I
recall correctly. Reading those two things, it appeared to me a bit
unclear when and how your archive would be posted.
You cleared it up: you are looking for input from the list owners and list
members to address your idea of putting up archives. Thanks for the
clarification.
P.S. What tort would that be?
